PRIVACY POLICY
Vizzibo LLC Privacy Policy | Plugins
**Effective Date:** May 21st, 2026
**Last Updated:** May 21st, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how **Vizzibo LLC**, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Florida (“Vizzibo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you interact with us – whether by visiting our website at https://vizzibo.com (the “Site”), purchasing or using our WordPress plugins, activating a license key, or submitting information through a Vizzibo plugin embedded on a third-party website.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service, available at https://vizzibo.com/plugins-terms. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
**If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.**
—
1. Scope and Roles
Vizzibo operates in two distinct privacy roles depending on whose data is involved.
1.1 Vizzibo as a Controller
For personal information collected directly from Vizzibo’s customers and prospective customers — such as law firms, agencies, or other purchasers of Vizzibo plugins, and visitors to the vizzibo.com website – Vizzibo acts as the **controller**. We determine the purposes and means of processing that information, and we are responsible for handling it in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.
1.2 Vizzibo as a Processor
When a Customer End User (for example, a visitor to a law firm’s website) completes a form embedded in a Vizzibo plugin, the resulting lead data is captured into the Customer’s own WordPress database. The **Customer**, not Vizzibo, is the controller of that data. Vizzibo acts only as a **processor** to the extent that the data transits Vizzibo’s infrastructure – for example, during licensing validation, webhook routing, or when the Customer explicitly configures Vizzibo to relay leads through our infrastructure.
If you are a Customer End User and you have a question or request regarding personal information you submitted to a Vizzibo plugin form, please contact the law firm or other website operator whose form you completed. Vizzibo cannot directly access, modify, or delete lead data stored in a Customer’s WordPress installation; only the Customer can.
—
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you create an Account, purchase a Subscription, activate a License Key, contact support, or otherwise interact with Vizzibo, we may collect:
– **Contact information** — name, business or law firm name, email address, postal address, telephone number
– **Account credentials** — email address used for authentication and license activation, License Keys issued to you
– **Billing information** — billing address; the last four digits and expiration date of the payment card associated with your subscription; the transaction amount, currency, and timestamp. **We do not store full payment card numbers or CVCs**; those are handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe.
– **Subscription metadata** — plan tier (single plugin, bundle, agency), billing interval, plugin slug, activation count, license status
– **Support correspondence** — the contents of any email, ticket, or chat you send us in connection with a support inquiry, including any screenshots or log files you attach
– **Marketing preferences** — your opt-in or opt-out status for product announcements, release notes, and other email communications
2.2 Information Collected Automatically — When You Visit vizzibo.com
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
– **Device and connection data** — internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution, language preference, referring URL
– **Usage data** — pages viewed, time on page, links clicked, sequence of pages visited, session duration, exit page
– **Cookies and similar technologies** — small files stored in your browser, used to maintain session state, remember preferences, and measure marketing campaign performance. See Section 9 for details.
2.3 Information Collected Automatically — When You Use a Vizzibo Plugin
When a Vizzibo plugin is installed on a Customer’s WordPress site and contacts our licensing server to validate a License Key, we collect:
– **License validation telemetry** — the License Key being validated, the domain name of the WordPress site making the request, the plugin slug and version, the WordPress version, the PHP version, the IP address of the request, and a timestamp
– **Webhook event metadata** — when a payment processor (Stripe) sends us a webhook event, we record the event identifier, type, timestamp, mode (test or live), and processing status
We use this telemetry to authenticate License Keys, prevent fraud and abuse, track activation counts against subscription limits, and improve product reliability. We do not use this telemetry to identify the individual end users of a Customer’s website.
2.4 Information About Customer End Users (Processor Role)
When a Customer End User completes a Vizzibo plugin form on a Customer’s website, the plugin captures information that may include:
– The Customer End User’s name, email address, telephone number, postal location (city, state)
– Free-text descriptions of the Customer End User’s situation
– Answers to the plugin’s intake questions (for example, type of injury, severity, state, household income, debt amounts, family configuration — varying by plugin)
– A timestamp and the version identifier of the disclaimer the Customer End User acknowledged
– A hashed representation of the Customer End User’s IP address (used for rate-limiting and fraud prevention)
**This information is stored in the Customer’s own WordPress database and is processed by the Customer, not Vizzibo.** Vizzibo’s licensing server does not receive, store, or have access to Customer End User information. If the Customer configures an optional outbound webhook to relay lead data to a third party, that data may transit Vizzibo or third-party infrastructure briefly during transit but is not persisted by Vizzibo.
—
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
– **Service delivery** — provide, operate, and maintain the Vizzibo plugins, licensing server, and Site
– **Account management** — create and authenticate your account, issue and revalidate License Keys, enforce subscription terms
– **Payment processing** — process subscription payments and renewals, issue receipts, handle refunds and disputes
– **Customer support** — respond to your inquiries, troubleshoot issues, diagnose bugs
– **Product improvement** — analyze usage trends, debug errors, evaluate feature performance, plan new functionality
– **Security and fraud prevention** — detect, investigate, and prevent unauthorized access, license-key sharing, abuse, and other harmful activity
– **Legal compliance** — comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests from government authorities, enforce our agreements, protect our rights and the rights of third parties
– **Marketing communications** — with your consent, send product announcements, release notes, and other communications about the Service. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time through the link in any such email, or by contacting us at vizzibodigital@gmail.com
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not engage in “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (for EU and UK Residents)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our processing of your personal data is based on one or more of the following legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) or the UK GDPR:
– **Performance of a contract** — to provide the Service you have purchased, including license validation, support, and renewal processing
– **Legitimate interests** — to operate, secure, and improve our Service, prevent fraud, and conduct business analytics, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms
– **Consent** — where you have given us explicit consent (for example, opting in to marketing communications)
– **Compliance with a legal obligation** — where processing is required by applicable law, such as tax reporting or responding to lawful government requests
You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. See Section 10 for instructions on exercising your rights.
—
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share personal information only as described below.
5.1 Service Providers
We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Service. Each such provider is contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the purposes for which we engage them. Current service providers include:
– **Stripe, Inc.** — payment processing, subscription billing, and tax calculation. Stripe handles full payment card data subject to its own privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy.
– **Web hosting and content delivery providers** — for hosting the vizzibo.com Site and licensing server
– **Email delivery providers** — for transactional emails (license keys, receipts, password resets) and marketing emails (where you have opted in)
– **Customer support tooling** — ticketing and help-desk software
– **Analytics providers** — aggregate usage analytics on the Site, configured to anonymize IP addresses where supported
5.2 The WordPress.org Plugin Directory
Vizzibo distributes its free-tier Case Value plugin through the WordPress.org Plugin Directory. The Directory is operated by the WordPress Foundation and Automattic, and its statistics infrastructure may collect aggregate, anonymized installation and update data about plugin users. Vizzibo does not control this collection. Refer to https://wordpress.org/about/privacy/ for the WordPress.org privacy policy.
5.3 Legal and Safety Disclosures
We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:
(a) comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process;
(b) enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements;
(c) detect, investigate, or prevent fraud, security incidents, or violations of our policies;
(d) protect the rights, property, or safety of Vizzibo, our users, or the public; or
(e) respond to an emergency.
We will, where legally permitted, notify affected users of any law-enforcement or other government request for their data before complying.
5.4 Business Transfers
If Vizzibo is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets, personal information held by Vizzibo may be transferred as part of that transaction. The acquiring or surviving entity will be bound by commitments substantively equivalent to those in this Policy, or you will be notified of any material change in this Policy that results.
5.5 With Your Consent
We may share information with third parties beyond the categories above with your explicit consent.
—
6. International Data Transfers
Vizzibo is located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States. Data protection laws in the United States may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
For transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to the United States, we rely on appropriate safeguards including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and their UK addendum where applicable). You may request a copy of these safeguards by emailing vizzibodigital@gmail.com
—
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, tax, or reporting obligations. Specific retention practices include:
– **Account and subscription records** — for the duration of your active subscription, plus a period of up to seven (7) years after termination for tax and audit purposes
– **Billing and payment records** — for the period required by applicable tax law (typically seven years in the United States)
– **License validation telemetry** — retained in raw form for ninety (90) days, then aggregated and anonymized
– **Webhook event logs** — retained for two (2) years for audit and dispute-resolution purposes
– **Support correspondence** — retained for three (3) years from the date of the last interaction
– **Marketing-list membership** — retained until you unsubscribe or your account is closed
When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it through reasonable technical and procedural means.
—
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:
– Encryption of personal information in transit between your device and our servers using industry-standard TLS
– Encryption at rest for payment-related and authentication-credential data
– Access controls limiting which Vizzibo personnel can access personal information, based on need-to-know
– Logging and monitoring of access to systems holding personal information
– Reliance on PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors (Stripe) so that full payment card data never touches Vizzibo infrastructure
– Routine review and updating of security practices
**No system is perfectly secure.** We cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never defeat our safeguards. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
—
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The vizzibo.com Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, and improve the Site. These fall into the following categories:
– **Strictly necessary** — required for the Site to function (for example, maintaining your session, remembering your cookie preferences). These cannot be disabled.
– **Functional** — remembering language and display preferences, prefilling forms you have started
– **Analytics** — measuring traffic patterns and feature engagement in aggregate
– **Marketing** — measuring the performance of advertising campaigns that brought you to the Site
Where required by law, we obtain your consent through a cookie banner before placing non-essential cookies. You can adjust your cookie preferences at any time through the cookie banner’s “Manage preferences” link or through your browser’s settings. Blocking certain cookies may degrade Site functionality.
The Vizzibo plugins themselves do **not** set any cookies on Customer End Users. Customer End Users’ browsers receive only the plugin’s JavaScript and CSS files necessary to render the widget.

11. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for use by professional businesses — primarily licensed attorneys and law firms — and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of sixteen (16). If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a person under sixteen, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact VizziboDigital@gmail.com.
The Vizzibo plugins as deployed on Customer websites may, depending on how the Customer has configured the plugin, capture information from end users of any age. The Customer (the website operator) is responsible for compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and similar laws on their own website.
—
12. Third-Party Links
The Site and the Vizzibo plugins may contain links to third-party websites and services that are not operated by Vizzibo. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site or service you visit through a link from our Service.
—
13. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” signal indicating that the user does not wish to be tracked across websites. The internet industry has not finalized a uniform standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, and we therefore do not currently take action in response to such signals. We do, however, honor the opt-out mechanisms described in Sections 9 and 10.
